Scoop’s Story: Seeking Simplicity
We worked as field professionals, project managers and sales engineers for decades, always looking for tools to simplify communication and collaboration. We wanted a tool that would let us team up and communicate clearly, from anywhere without having to jump through hoops. A tool that would give us the flexibility to achieve a balance between work and family. Here are some of the principles we wrote down before we began designing Scoop.

Collaboration Should be Simple
We believe working together should be simple (and maybe even fun): as simple as when we are in the same room or at the same worksite. It shouldn’t require filling out forms or spending hours in meetings or on the phone.
Communication Should be Natural
Remember when you were in Kindergarten? We do. Back then communication was natural, in fact as natural as Show & Tell. We may have grown up but this is still the most human way to communicate. Our vision is to bring more of this back to teams.
Software Should be Easy
Simplicity is not just an empty motto for us. We purposely designed Scoop as a Mobile-First platform to have the limitations of mobile devices make our design simple & economical. Result: only 0.11% of our customers ever require any support from us.
Your Data Should be Safe
Your data deserves to be safe, secure, and accessible to you. We also believe that you own your data, not us. Your data is always easy to download or export any time you want it.
