Email Integration
Few of us love email, but like it or not email remains the most common mode of communication. In addition to mobile notifications, Scoop alerts you and your collaborators via email–but only when necessary. You can also customize when and how often you receive emails to avoid cluttering your inbox.
Complimenting Your Existing IT Tools
If you think of each scoop as a secure, virtual, multimedia ‘conversation room’ then the hyperlink address of that scoop is the ‘key card’ that leads you to the room. This key can be placed inside your other IT environments such as a trouble ticket, project management record or other document. The key card protects against unauthorized access since only users with proper Scoop ID and password can enter.
Export scoops to Local Archive
Many project management and record keeping systems require hard copies or at least virtual hard copies of field data and communications to be kept on file. Scoop provides an efficient way to export your scoop tickets (scoops) into a zip archive containing an MS Excel document (comma separated values) and a collection of associated pictures, voice and video accessible through hyperlinks. In this manner you can periodically back up all your data to a local computer or copy to a 3rd-party cloud-based storage system.
