Introducing What Your Scoop Is About

For each scoop you add an introduction using voice or text. The idea is to tell your invitees what this scoop is about and ask them to take an action such as examining the media you have provided, providing feedback, answering specific questions, etc.
On Mobile App: adding a scoop introduction
- Locate and open the scoop for which you want to add/edit an introduction (you can use keyword search or filters to do this)
- Once you have opened the given scoop and arrived at its overview page…
- Add one or more invitees to your scoop (note: it is typical to do this after you have completed adding media and described your scoop more fully)
iPhone: press the edit button at top right of screen to enter edit mode then tap the voice intro and/or text intro to edit the desired intro type
Android: press the options key on handset then select edit to enter edit mode; now tap the voice intro and/or text intro to edit the desired intro type
Blackberry: press the intro icon in the bottom left of the screen then choose the type of intro you wish to edit
Tip: adding a voice intro is very convenient especially when you are in a rush. You can later supplement this with a short but keyword-rich Title and Text Intro. Adding keywords will make your scoop easier to find later using Scoop’s keyword search feature.
Scoop Rookie Mistake explaining too much of the details in the intro! when adding an intro try to be concise and focus on the big picture of your scoop rather than adding all the details. Communicate the details using different media that you upload and the associated captions and comments that you add.
